Sandblasting of glass is a technique of decorating glass surface by making it matt with abrasive which in a stream of compressed air directed by the nozzle hits the glass, causing abrasion of its surface. This process results in a matt surface, which is dependent on the roughness of the abrasive granulation.

The technique allows for sanding the entire surface of glass sheet or selected areas. Sandblasting can be applied to all kinds of glass such as float, antisol, DECORMAT, mirror, etc.
